Privacy policy

Wide Shouts Designs ("we", "us") is a design and development studio at Sector 44, Gurugram, Haryana 122003, India. This page explains what information our website, wideshouts.com, collects, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, write to us at hello@wideshouts.com.

What we collect

When you send us a message through the Contact form, we collect what you type in: your name, email address, phone number, company (optional), the services you're interested in, and your message.

To keep the form free of spam, your internet (IP) address and basic browser details are checked at the moment you press send, by our own server and by Cloudflare Turnstile. They are used only for that check and are not stored with your message.

When you browse the site, we use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people use it: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are (country or city, never a precise location), what device and browser they use, and how they arrived. It does not tell us who you are.

To measure our advertising, we also use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. These let Meta and LinkedIn tell us how many people visited after seeing our posts or ads, and may let us show our ads to past visitors on those platforms. Meta and LinkedIn may link this to your account with them, under their own privacy policies.

If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, none of this analytics or advertising measurement happens unless you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Everywhere else it is on by default — and you can switch it off at any time (see "Cookies" below).

We don't ask for, and don't want, sensitive information such as financial or health details. Please don't include it in your message.

Why we use it

• To read and reply to your enquiry, and to talk about working together.
• To protect the form and the site from spam and abuse.
• To understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the site.
• To measure and improve our marketing.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use your enquiry for anything other than responding to you and the conversation that follows.

Who handles it for us

We use a small number of trusted services to run the site. They process information only to provide their service to us:

• Our hosting provider — hosts the website.
• Cloudflare — protects and speeds up the site, and runs the Turnstile spam check.
• Resend — delivers your enquiry to our inbox by email.
• Google (Analytics, Tag Manager) — website statistics.
• Meta and LinkedIn — advertising measurement.

Some of these companies may process information outside India. We choose established providers that protect data appropriately.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages are kept for 24 months after our last conversation, then deleted — unless we start working together, in which case they become part of our normal client records. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them only for analytics and advertising measurement — never to make the site work. Visitors from the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked first, in a banner on their first visit, and nothing is set unless they accept. Wherever you are, you can turn them off — or back on — at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the Contact page, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Saying no changes nothing about how the site works.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you;
• correct it if it's wrong;
• delete it;
• stop using it, where you gave us consent.

Write to hello@wideshouts.com with the subject "Privacy". We'll reply within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact our grievance officer, Arpit Jain, at hello@wideshouts.com. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board of India).

Children

This site is meant for businesses and isn't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
